A Month with B2W Group: A Tale of Two Emotions

''Serious meets fun" - that's the best way to describe my incredible month with B2W Group! Their rigorous and impactful program in Digital Contact Center, Cyber Security, and Digital & IT Skills was a wild ride, but the best part? The amazing tutors who made it an unforgettable experience.

Dawn Stevens, the lead tutor, is a rockstar! Her humor and amiability made even the most intense sessions a joy. Lorraine Hill and Mark Hobbins were equally fantastic, delivering top-notch content with professionalism and flair. I loved how they used real-life examples to illustrate complex concepts - it made everything so much easier to understand!

Dawn is an avid supporter of Nottingham Forest Football Club. She speaks so passionately about the club that I have often imagined that she lives very close to the stadium and can look out of her window and admire the City Ground Stadium in anticipation of a live game. In case you do not follow football and you are wondering what City Ground looks like, do not worry, I found a picture that I think Dawn took from her room window.

But here's the thing: this course was NO JOKE! 9am-5pm, five days a week, with assessments galore. I had to stay focused and alert, or risk falling behind! There were moments when I felt like I was drinking from a firehose, but the tutors were always there to help me catch up.

The support from my fellow coursemates was incredible - we formed a tight-knit community that encouraged and motivated each other every step of the way. I have to give a special shout out to Cait who is such a great person. We were together in all the breakout sessions and the banter we had on our group was second to none.

BUT, despite the intensity, we had a blast! Wellbeing Wednesdays were a highlight - we'd take an hour to relax, do something fun, and share our adventures with the class. Did I talk about padlets yet? We used padlets for a lot of group activities including Wellbeing Wednesdays. It was amazing to see how creative everyone got! Some people shared photos of their pets, while others showed off their cooking skills (or lack thereof!). It was the perfect way to break the ice and bond with our fellow coursemates.

And the best part? We didn't even feel like we were apart! Despite being a virtual program, the connections we made were real and meaningful. We had group chats, virtual coffee breaks, and even a few virtual games (okay, maybe just one, but it was epic!). It was incredible to see how technology could bring us together like that.

So if you're looking for a program that's both challenging and fun, look no further than B2W Group! Trust me, you won't regret it. The skills you'll gain are invaluable, and the friends you'll make will last a lifetime. And who knows - you might even discover a new talent or two (I personally discovered a hidden love for cybersecurity!).
